Enhance Bone Health, Improve Posture and Put a “Spring” in your Step!
Bones for Life is an awareness based program that uses dynamic movements to improve bone strength, vitality and posture. A series of 90 processes focus on well being issues, such as balance, flexibility, strength, alignment and ease of movement. Ruthy Alon, senior trainer in the Feldenkrais Method, developed the program to support vibrant health with aging.
In the Bones for Life classes you will be guided to use mindful exploration and gentle pressure and rhythm with a focus on body alignment. These ingredients are Key to maximizing bone strength without causing harm. Each participant works at their own pace and comfort level. Processes are adaptable for anyone.
Through simple, effective movements, you will learn how to:
- Stimulate bone strength
- Improve posture and alignment
- Coordinate a springy and dynamic walk
- Restore vitality and equilibrium
- Enhance pleasure and confidence in moving.
